Scheduling your aesthetic dermatology appointment
When you schedule your aesthetic dermatology appointment at Schlessinger MD, our patient coordinators are at your service from scheduling to follow-up care and everything in between.
Your first step is to schedule an aesthetic consultation, either in-person or virtually, depending on your preference. You can choose between a new patient visit or a returning patient aesthetic consultation. Next, you will choose the reason for your visit, zeroing in on the primary aesthetic concerns you wish to address, whether they be acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, leg veins, pigmentation and more. By letting us know the focus of your appointment, our providers can address your primary concerns and curate treatment plans that will give you the best results possible.
Arriving at your aesthetic dermatology appointment
When you arrive for your consultation and check-in, a patient coordinator will greet you and show you to your patient room. After we snap a few photos and ask some introductory questions, one of our board-certified dermatologists and cosmetic surgeons will meet with you to assess your skin, ask pertinent medical history questions and address any concerns you may have. From there, a personalized treatment plan will be discussed.
As an example, if your primary concerns are discoloration and fine lines and wrinkles, we may recommend an advanced laser treatment like HALO™, in combination with injectables like BOTOX® or dermal fillers like JUVEDERM®. If tightening lax skin on the face and neck is your goal, we may prescribe treatments like ENDYMED Intensif RF Microneedling and/or Ultherapy®.
