This treatment uses infrared light to visibly tighten skin, making it appear smoother and more youthful. It uses gentle heat to encourage skin on the face and body to produce collagen. Because it keeps the surface of your skin at a controlled temperature, it is comfortable and within twenty to thirty minutes you can see visible differences that improve with time.

This treatment fades the look of wrinkles, lost elasticity and sagging skin. It works for all skin types, and results can last a year or longer after a series of five or six treatments. SkinTyte® can be used on all skin tones and all over the body and face, including areas like the neck and under eyes.

To enjoy a SkinTyte® treatment, you’ll first need to schedule a consultation with double board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Joel Schlessinger. During this consultation, he’ll ask you relevant questions about your medical history and your current cosmetic concerns to ensure that SkinTyte® is the right treatment for you or recommend an alternative if that is a better choice. On average, the treatment takes about thirty minutes to complete per area. After that, there’s no downtime, so you can go back to work right away.

Typically, a series of three to six treatments is needed for full results, with each procedure performed four to eight weeks apart. The exact number is something Dr. Schlessinger will determine during your consultation.

You could notice some light redness and swelling comparable to a sunburn. That will only last for a few minutes. Typically, you can apply makeup and go back to normal activities right away. 

SkinTyte® is perfect for mildly sagging or crepey arms, legs and stomach areas, but it is truly useful on any body part.  It enhances collagen, which helps with the skin’s underlying structure.
