Only receive your injections in reputable places by highly trained individuals
With unlicensed BOTOX® injectors, there’s also a risk of counterfeit or expired BOTOX® being used, which can cause severe complications including botulism poisoning or infection. A vial of BOTOX® should come with a tamper-evident seal and will have a holographic “Allergan” logo on the bottle. But, at the end of the day, dishonest injectors can and will use bad or expired product to save money. If the dollars per unit is all that a clinic focuses on, there are sadly too many ways to cut corners. Using fake, diluted or expired product is one way these places do just that.
