What is SKINVIVE™ by Juvederm®
SKINVIVE™ acts as a ‘skin booster’ and skin rejuvenation treatment. It is colloquially called an “injectable moisturizer” because it replenishes hydration to improve skin’s overall quality and health by leveraging the power of modified hyaluronic acid. This natural molecule, already present in your skin, acts like a moisture magnet, smoothing skin texture for a youthful appearance.

How is SKINVIVE™ hyaluronic acid injection different than other dermal fillers?
While SKINVIVE™ is injected into the skin like other hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, that’s where the similarities end. Traditional dermal fillers like JUVEDERM® and Restylane® use a hyaluronic acid gel injected into the dermis to restore lost volume in facial contours and plump deep-set wrinkles or thin lips. Dermal fillers can offer immediate results and typically last anywhere from nine to twelve months.
SKINVIVE™ takes a completely different approach and is not designed to add volume, though the hydration is often seen as a slight increase in volume. Rather, it revitalizes skin quality and boosts hydration through the unique HA microdroplet formulation and superficial intradermal injection technique. While fillers can be injected in several areas of the face, SKINVIVE™ is designed for the cheeks and results last around six months, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle.

What can you expect during and after your SKINVIVE™ treatment?
