Overview
Get the optimal rosacea treatment for your skin type
The quality of your skin is one of the first things people notice about you, but when it has blemishes, it can be a great source of insecurity and a lack of confidence. For many people, rosacea leads to an undesirable look of their skin. Many dermatologists simply ‘treat’ rosacea, but don’t attempt a cure. Fortunately, with the help of Schlessinger MD, this doesn’t need to be a problem that you live with for the rest of your life. Dr. Schlessinger and his associates have performed numerous clinical research trials on this condition and have the skill and expertise to often cure it, rather than simply treating it with creams for the rest of your life.
Understanding rosacea
Rosacea is an inflammatory, long-lasting skin condition that affects an estimated 16 million Americans. Symptoms might include red, flushed skin, broken blood vessels, inflammation, and red bumps that look like a breakout of acne. As rosacea progresses, the redness often starts in the center of the face and may gradually spread to the cheeks, forehead, chin, and nose. It also may begin to form on the ears, chest, back, and even the eyes.
There are several forms of rosacea, including papulo-pustular rosacea, blushing rosacea, telangiectatic (blood vessel) rosacea, dietary/alcohol rosacea, rhinophymatous rosacea (the type that causes a bulbous nose somewhat like comedian W.C. Fields), and mite-infestation-related rosacea. Sometimes, these are seen in combination or alone, and occasionally they change over time from one type to another.

I’ve been a loyal patient of Dr Joel, and Jackie Hall for years. Wouldn’t trust my skin and rosacea to anyone else. I happily recommend Schlessinger MD, their med spa and their on line store LovelySkin.com to all my friends.
